The Chelsea 489XREVX-A5RA or 489XREVXA5RA is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft (with key) is driven by tapered bearings instead of needle bearings for greater load capacity. Series intermittent torque rating is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are shared with the 442 Series.
