The Chelsea 489XREVX-A5RB or 489XREVXA5RB is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating an extra potential leak path. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard on this unit. The 1-1/4" round output shaft is keyed, and the 489 Series delivers an intermittent torque rating of 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) -- the same torque capacity as the 442 Series. Shaft power runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.
