The Chelsea 489XRITX-W3XD or 489XRITXW3XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly with wire/cable mechanical shift and an 8-bolt mounting configuration. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual transmissions, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round configuration with key. Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 489 Series shares internal components with the Chelsea 442 Series, and tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-carrying capability.
