The Chelsea 489XSAHX-A3XD or 489XSAHXA3XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. Its one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The wire/cable mechanical shift mechanism drives a 1-1/4" round output shaft with key. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series runs 201-300 lb-ft, and shaft power output is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for increased load-bearing capability. Available with a no-pressure-lube or pressure-lube configuration.
