The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489XSAHX-A3XR or 489XSAHXA3XR is an 8-bolt PTO built for most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. Its one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate that creates a potential leak path. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load capacity, sharing internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series.
