The Chelsea 489 Series PTO Assembly, part number 489XSAHX-V3XQ or 489XSAHXV3XQ, is an 8-bolt power take-off built for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. Its one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The wire/cable mechanical shift delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with keyway. Tapered bearings handle load better than needle-bearing designs.
