The Chelsea 489 Series PTO Assembly, part number 489XUAHX-A5RB or 489XUAHXA5RB, mounts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and other compatible manual transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating a common leak path. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and the kit-style design simplifies servicing in the field.
