The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XUAHX-A5XK or 489XUAHXA5XK, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating a common leak path. The 489 Series delivers the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series, with tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. At 500 RPM, shaft power is 24 HP; at 1,000 RPM it reaches 48 HP. Compatible transmissions include Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others.
