The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XUITX-H3XD or 489XUITXH3XD, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec models. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate used on older designs, reducing potential leak paths and cutting mounting time. This unit shifts via wire/cable mechanical actuation and delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque, with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
