The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZCDAX-A5RA or 489ZCDAXA5RA, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening with a one-piece cast iron housing that eliminates the need for an adapter plate and removes a potential leak path. The 489 Series is rated for intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM through a 1-1/4" round output shaft. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Compatible transmissions include Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and others with an 8-bolt PTO aperture. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
