The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XSDAX-A5RA or 489XSDAXA5RA, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings found on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and Eaton Endurant transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the need for a separate adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load capacity.
