The Chelsea 489ZFDAX-A5GK or 489ZFDAXA5GK is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, and Mack applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and the leak path that comes with one. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque, the same capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series. Output shaft is 1-1/4" round with keyway. Shaft power runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the 442 Series, and the kit-style construction simplifies field service.
