The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZFDAX-A3RB or 489ZFDAXA3RB, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. Its one-piece cast iron housing mounts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating a common leak path. The 489 Series delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM through a 1-1/4" round output shaft. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. Internal components are shared with the Chelsea 442 Series, and the kit-style design simplifies service. Compatible with Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual transmissions.
