The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZHITX-A5XD or 489ZHITXA5XD, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on some designs, removing a potential leak path. Wire/cable mechanical shift moves the unit on and off the power source. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with keyway connects to a wide range of auxiliary equipment. Shaft power delivery runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with an intermittent torque rating in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Internal parts are shared with the 442 Series.
