The Chelsea 489ZRITX-A5XK or 489ZRITXA5XK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off assembly from Chelsea's 489 Series, designed to mount directly to manual transmissions with an 8-bolt aperture including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power output reaches 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and accepts a 1-1/4" round output shaft with key. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
