The Chelsea 823 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 823XBAKP-M3XV or 823XBAKPM3XV, is Chelsea's extra heavy-duty PTO built for high-torque applications including oil field, logging, and pumper/cleaner trucks. It mounts on any 8-bolt PTO aperture and is compatible with Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Allison, and other transmission manufacturers. The lever and mechanical shift design pairs with a 1-1/2"-10T spline output shaft fitted with a 1410 series companion flange. Intermittent torque rating reaches 500 lb-ft (678 Nm); shaft power output is 48 HP at 500 RPM and 95 HP at 1000 RPM. A cast iron housing with tapered cone bearings on the output shaft delivers high load-bearing capability suited to demanding mobile, forestry, and oil and gas equipment.
