The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XDQTP-D3RY or 871XDQTPD3RY, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic shift) PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating of up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty applications. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give technicians the flexibility to match the PTO to a wide range of vocational setups, from fire and rescue apparatus to refuse trucks and crane bodies. A ductile iron bearing cap, rated 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap directly address the vibrational loads produced by modern engine designs. Optional Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear configurations are available within the series. The 871 Series replaces the earlier Chelsea 870 Series PTO.
