The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XDQTP-D5RY or 871XDQTPD5RY, is a compact 10-bolt hydraulic PowerShift PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty operation. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output configurations give technicians the flexibility to match the unit to a wide range of vocational installations, including fire and rescue, refuse, truck cranes, and pumper-cleaner trucks. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing the damaging vibrational effects of modern engine designs. Optional Wet Spline lubrication, SmartStart shock-load reduction, Quiet Gear input, and Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) are available within this series.
