The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 871XEFJP-D5XV or 871XEFJPD5XV, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating of up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty applications. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give this unit a wide application range covering fire and rescue, refuse, pumper cleaner, and truck crane work. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing the vibrational effects of modern engine designs. Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear options are all available on the 871 Series. The 871 Series replaces the earlier Chelsea 870 Series PTO.
