The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XEFJP-B5RF or 871XEFJPB5RF, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) PTO designed for Allison-equipped vehicles in demanding vocational applications including fire and rescue, refuse, pumper-cleaner, and truck crane service. The 871 Series delivers continuous-duty torque capacity up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous operation. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give installers broad flexibility. The compact housing reduces clearance issues at installation. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing the vibrational effects of modern engine designs. Optional Wet Spline pump flange, SmartStart shock-load reduction, Quiet Gear input, and Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) are available within the series.
