The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XJFJW-L5RK or 871XJFJWL5RK, is a compact 10-bolt hydraulic PowerShift PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous duty operation. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give this unit broad application flexibility across fire and rescue, refuse, pumper cleaner, and truck crane equipment. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration damage. Optional Wet Spline pump flange, SmartStart shock-load reduction, Quiet Gear input, and Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) round out the feature set. The 871 Series replaces the Chelsea 870 Series.
