The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off, part number 878LEFJW-M3TZ or 878LEFJWM3TZ, is a constant-mesh PTO engineered to mount on Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series builds on the proven 877 Series platform with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load and resist vibration, and an 80% increase in steel disc thickness within the clutch pack. The cast iron housing and rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce clearance interference issues, while the positive-stop driveline output eliminates oil seal damage from coupling.
