The Chelsea 878LAFJW-M3TZ or 878LAFJWM3TZ is a constant mesh Power Take-Off Assembly from the Chelsea 878 Series, designed to fit Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series builds on the proven 877 Series platform with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and increased steel disc thickness within the clutch pack to better handle vibration from modern engine designs. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. Rotatable cast iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and the Wet Spline Lubrication option delivers 7 to 10 times greater output shaft life. A hydraulic hose is included.
