The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XAFJW-M3RZ or 878XAFJWM3RZ, is a constant mesh PTO engineered to fit Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. Built around a cast iron housing, the 878 Series improves on the proven 877 Series design with a ductile iron bearing cap that is 117% stronger than gray iron. An O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications, and rotatable cast iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues. The Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times. A hose is included. Common markets include snow and ice, refuse, aerial, and vacuum applications. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
