The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XAFJW-M5RS or 878XAFJWM5RS, is a constant mesh PTO engineered for Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series delivers the highest torque capability in its class within a compact package, rated up to 670 lb-ft in both intermittent and continuous duty applications. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects while improving clamp load. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce clearance and interference issues. A Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times.
