The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XDFJP-M3AB or 878XDFJPM3AB, is a constant mesh PTO engineered to mount on Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. This series carries up to 670 lb-ft continuous torque in a compact package, with a single continuous duty torque rating that covers both intermittent and sustained operation. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects while improving clamp load. Rotatable cast-iron flanges minimize interference clearance issues, and the Wet Spline Lubrication option delivers 7 to 10 times greater shaft life. Nine speed ratios include both low and high speed selections. The driveline output features a positive stop that protects oil seals from coupling damage. A hose is included.
