The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XFFJP-M3AB or 878XFFJPM3AB, is a constant mesh PTO engineered for Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmission mounting. The 878 Series builds on the proven 877 Series design with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and steel clutch disc thickness increased by 80%. The series delivers up to 670 lb-ft continuous torque and nine speed ratios covering both low and high ranges. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and driveline outputs include a positive stop to prevent oil seal damage.
