The Chelsea 878XDFJP-M3RF or 878XDFJPM3RF is a constant mesh Power Take-Off from the 878 Series, engineered to mount on Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing the vibrational effects associated with modern engine designs. Steel disc thickness within the clutch pack has been increased by 80% over the predecessor 877 Series. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and the positive-stop driveline output eliminates oil seal damage from coupling. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. The wet spline lubrication option delivers 7 to 10 times greater shaft life. A hydraulic hose is included.
