The Chelsea 878XEFJP-M3RS or 878XEFJPM3RS is a constant-mesh Power Take-Off assembly from Chelsea's 878 Series, designed to fit Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. Building on the proven 877 Series platform, the 878 features a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and rotatable cast-iron flanges to reduce clearance and interference issues. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. The Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times. The series handles continuous-duty torque up to 670 lb-ft and is suited for snow and ice, vacuum, aerial, and refuse applications. A hydraulic hose is included.
