The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XEFJP-M5RF or 878XEFJPM5RF, is a constant mesh PTO built for Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series advances on Chelsea's proven 877 Series platform with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and steel clutch disc thickness increased by 80%. The series delivers up to 670 lb-ft of torque in both continuous and intermittent duty. Nine speed ratios cover low and high range operation. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and the Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times. A hose is included with the assembly.
