The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XFFJW-M5RZ or 878XFFJWM5RZ, is a constant mesh PTO built for 10-bolt Allison and CAT transmissions. The 878 Series improves on the proven 877 Series design with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for better clamp load, and rotatable cast-iron flanges that reduce interference clearance issues. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. Wet spline lubrication is available as an option, extending shaft life 7 to 10 times compared to standard configurations.
