The Chelsea 880 Series is designed for high-torque, high- and low-speed applications using constant mesh input gears. Tapered cone bearings provide strong load-bearing capacity. Typical applications include bulk haulers, winch systems, fire trucks, oil field equipment, aerial units, and large-truck recovery. The 880 Series supports continuous operation with a 30% torque de-rating applied. Lubricant options within the series include pressure lube (P) and non-pressure lube (X) configurations, as encoded in the part number. Output flange options within the series include SAE B, SAE C, and ISO 7652 pump flanges in addition to the driveline flange on this unit.
