The Chelsea 880XRDAX-A3XS or 880XRDAXA3XS is an 880 Series 8-bolt power take-off assembly built for high-torque, heavy-duty applications. It uses a lever mechanical shift and mounts to manual transmissions from Volvo/Mack, Allison, Eaton/Fuller, and others with an 8-bolt aperture. The output shaft is a 1-1/2"-10T spline with a 1410 Series companion flange, rated up to 500 lb-ft intermittent torque (verify actual rating on Chelsea application pages). Shaft power is 48 HP at 500 RPM and 95 HP at 1,000 RPM. Typical service applications include bulk haulers, fire trucks, oil field equipment, aerial units, and large recovery trucks.
