The Chelsea 880 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 880XTDAX-A5GS or 880XTDAXA5GS, is an 8-bolt, lever mechanical shift PTO rated for up to 500 lb-ft (678 Nm) intermittent torque. The output shaft is a 1-1/2"-10T spline with a 1410 companion flange, suited to high-torque driveline applications. Shaft power output reaches 48 HP (36 kW) at 500 RPM and 95 HP (71 kW) at 1000 RPM. The 880 Series fits most manual transmissions with an 8-bolt aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Allison. Typical applications include bulk haulers, fire trucks, oil field equipment, aerial units, and large recovery trucks. A removable shift cover simplifies backlash adjustment during installation.
