The Chelsea 890NFFJW-B3CS or 890NFFJWB3CS is a hydraulic PowerShift PTO assembly built for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD Series transmissions. Part of Chelsea's 890 Series, it mounts via a 10-bolt pattern at the transmission side and positions the pump output flange to the rear of the transmission, opening clearance between the pump and the frame rail. The output shaft is SAE C ("XS") type with a wet-spline interface that reduces wear on both the PTO and pump shaft in demanding duty cycles. Shaft power output reaches 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1000 RPM, with a continuous-duty torque rating up to 670 lb-ft. The one-piece main shaft eliminates the input splines found in extension-style designs, and the clutch sits at the rear of the housing to keep the gear section tight to the transmission.
