The Chelsea 890REFJW-B5XS or 890REFJWB5XS is a hydraulic PowerShift PTO assembly from the Chelsea 890 Series, engineered specifically for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and positions the pump output to the rear of the transmission, tucking the housing and gear section tightly inboard for improved clearance between the PTO and the frame rail. The one-piece main shaft eliminates the input splines between the PTO body and the output extension. Continuous torque rating reaches 670 lb-ft with an intermittent torque rating of 501+ lb-ft. The SAE C (XS) output shaft uses Wet Spline Technology to reduce wear on the PTO and pump shaft in demanding service. Shaft power is 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM.
