The Chelsea 890REFJW-B5XY or 890REFJWB5XY is a hydraulic PowerShift PTO assembly engineered for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD Series transmissions. It uses a 10-bolt mounting configuration and delivers an SAE C output shaft with Wet Spline lubrication to extend pump shaft service life in demanding duty cycles. The 890 Series positions the pump mounting flange at the rear of the transmission, moving the output rearward for better clearance between the pump and the frame rail. A one-piece main shaft eliminates the input splines common to PTO-plus-extension designs, and the clutch sits at the rear of the housing so the gear section tucks tightly against the transmission. Continuous torque rating for this series reaches 670 ft-lb, with intermittent torque rated at 501 ft-lb and above. Shaft power output is 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM.
