The Chelsea 897LGFJW-M5AF or 897LGFJWM5AF is a constant-engagement (constant mesh) Power Take-Off Assembly built specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and routes the SAE C output flange to the rear of the transmission, positioning the pump interface behind the gear housing to free up clearance between the PTO and the frame rail. The one-piece main shaft eliminates input splines between the PTO body and the output extension, and wet spline technology on the output protects both the PTO and pump shaft under demanding, continuous-duty cycles. Continuous-duty torque capacity reaches 670 ft-lb; intermittent torque is rated at 501+ ft-lb. Shaft power output at 1,000 RPM is 128 HP.
