The Chelsea 897 Series PTO Assembly, part number 897UEFJW-M5XV or 897UEFJWM5XV, is a constant-engagement power take-off engineered for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The 10-bolt mounting configuration positions the SAE C output flange at the rear of the transmission, tucking the gear section tightly against the housing to gain pump clearance without requiring a separate extension unit. The main shaft is one-piece, which eliminates the input splines between the PTO body and the output section. Continuous torque capacity reaches 670 ft-lb (908 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 501+ ft-lb. Wet Spline lubrication on the output extends pump shaft service life in demanding duty cycles.
