The 504027 Eaton input shaft kit is an Eaton differential component sold by Pro Gear and Transmission. The input shaft carries torque from the driveline into the differential carrier, so it sees every bit of load the drivetrain puts through the axle. Ordering the kit by its Eaton part number keeps the shaft matched to the carrier it was built for, which matters when a rebuild has to go back together to factory dimensions.
