The Muncie A20-A1005-HX5PB or A20A1005HX5PB is a medium-duty, 10-bolt clutch shift power take-off engineered for Allison 3000 and 4000 series transmissions. The A20 series delivers a single intermittent/continuous torque rating across its speed range, with torque output varying by ratio selection. Speed ratios from 5 through 15 cover a wide spread of engine percentage outputs: a ratio-5 position runs at 74% of 3000-series engine speed (105% of 4000-series), while a ratio-15 position reaches 201% and 287% respectively. Intermittent/continuous horsepower at 1,000 RPM ranges from 77 hp (57 kW) at the lower ratios down to 39 hp (29 kW) at ratio 15.
