The Muncie A20-A1008-HX1X4 or A20A1008HX1X4 is a medium-duty, 10-bolt clutch shift power takeoff from Muncie's A20 Series, designed specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series automatic transmissions. The A20 Series uses a proven clutch pack design with tapered roller bearings to extend PTO service life, and the shift cover rotates a full 360 degrees for flexible installation. A rotatable pump flange and increased housing clearance simplify mounting, while extended-length PTO fasteners and an enlarged output shaft diameter add durability. The unit features maximized gear geometry for reduced noise, a single intermittent/continuous torque rating, and three available housing arrangements.
