The Muncie A20-A1008-SX3CB or A20A1008SX3CB is a medium-duty clutch shift power take-off from Muncie's A20 Series, engineered specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions via a 10-bolt mounting interface. The A20 Series uses a proven clutch pack design with tapered roller bearings to extend PTO service life, and features a shift cover with 360-degree rotation so the control port can be positioned to clear obstructions in tight installations. The rotatable pump flange adds further installation flexibility. Output shaft diameter is increased over earlier designs for added durability, and an enlarged gear profile reduces operating noise. The unit carries a single intermittent/continuous torque rating, is available in three housing arrangements, and accepts the EX Drive shaft extension.
