The Muncie 06TA5681 is an SAE "C" output extension shaft three-piece assembly with an overall length of 20.7 inches, rated for Allison 4000 standard applications. It is part of Muncie's EX Drive shaft extension system, which allows large gear or piston pumps to be direct-mounted to Allison 3000 and 4000 series transmissions with retarder or cooler, removing the need for a separate driveline installation. The three-piece shaft design is engineered to reduce assembly lead time and simplify the build process. A wet spline design is incorporated to extend spline service life.
