The Muncie 06TA5521 is a three-piece extension shaft assembly for the Muncie EX Drive system, designed to work with Allison 3000 and 4000 series transmissions equipped with a retarder or rear-mounted cooler. This assembly features an SAE "B" output, a 7/8"-13 tooth spline interface, and a 23.8" shaft length. The three-piece construction reduces lead time compared to single-piece alternatives. The EX Drive system it serves allows large gear or piston pumps to direct-mount at the PTO output, eliminating conventional driveline installations. The wet spline design extends spline service life.
