The 06TA5683 shaft assembly is a service part for the Muncie EX Drive system, which mounts directly to Allison 3000 and 4000 series transmissions with or without a retarder and with or without a rear-mounted cooler. The EX Drive is compatible with Muncie A20, A30, A40, A50, and CS40/41 PTO families, and is available for both clutch shift and constant drive PTOs. The three-piece shaft construction was introduced to reduce lead time and simplify assembly compared to earlier single-piece designs.
