The Muncie 82 Series Power Take-Off, part number 828B-U6809-Q1IX or 828BU6809Q1IX, is built for high-torque, heavy-duty truck applications. A double-acting air shift mechanism provides positive engagement and disengagement. The 82 Series supports up to 500 lb.ft. intermittent torque and 95 HP at 1,000 RPM at the top speed ratio, making it capable of driving high-volume hydraulic pumps and high-CFM blowers. The cast iron housing accommodates seven direct mount pump options including SAE "B," "BB," "C," and "D" flanges, plus DIN 5462 mounts. Rotatable direct mount flanges allow pump positioning for maximum clearance. Nine output shaft options and two assembly arrangements are available across the series.
