The Muncie 8405A-07-P3PX or 8405A07P3PX is an 8405 Series power take-off built on a ductile iron housing with an integral 8-bolt mounting pad for a rigid, vibration-resistant installation. This unit runs speed ratio 07, delivering 44 HP and 230 ft-lb intermittent torque (312 Nm) at 1,000 RPM, with a continuous torque rating of 161 ft-lb (218 Nm). Engagement is handled by an integral air shift. The pump mounting face accepts an SAE "B" or SAE "B-B" 2- or 4-bolt flange, with an optional 1-1/4" output shaft. A drain port and inspection port for backlash adjustment are built in. The 8405A series covers three speed ratios equivalent to the TG8S-U6807, TG8S-U6808, and TG8S-U6809 PTOs.
