The Muncie 8405A-07-A3KX (also shown as 8405A07A3KX) is an 8405 Series power take-off built around a ductile iron housing with an integral 8-bolt mounting pad. Engagement is handled by an integral air shift unit. The pump mounting flange accepts SAE "B" or SAE "B-B" configurations in 2- or 4-bolt patterns, with an optional 1-1/4" output shaft. Speed ratio designation 07 delivers 44 HP at 1,000 RPM, with an intermittent torque rating of 230 ft-lb (312 Nm) and a continuous torque rating of 161 ft-lb (218 Nm).
