The Muncie CS40-A1010-J12X or CS40A1010J12X is a heavy-duty clutch shift power take-off from the Muncie CS40/41 Series, designed for use with Allison 3000 and 4000 series and Caterpillar CX transmissions. This 10-bolt unit runs precision ground gears for quiet operation at high torque loads, backed by extra-large bearings throughout. The 1410-series remote mount output shaft supports remote pump drive installations, while S.A.E. "C" and DIN 5462 direct mount flanges accommodate most high-power-input pumps. Rotatable direct mount flanges let you position the pump for maximum clearance. Two assembly arrangements allow mounting shaft-high or shaft-low on either side of the transmission. Standard pressure lubrication is included at no extra cost. Maximum output speed on fire pump applications is 4,000 RPM. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.
